1 package red Jell-O, regular size***1 large can pineapple juice
1 cup sugar***1 quart Ginger Ale
1 1/2 cups water***2 cups cold water
Mix the first 3 ingredients and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add 2 cups cold water, pineapple juice and ginger ale. Add ice and serve.
2 cups white cornmeal***1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar
Brown the cornmeal in a hot 425° oven for 10 minutes by spreading in a thin layer on a cookie sheet, stirring several times to prevent scorching. Add sugar and cinnamon to the browned cornmeal and use like cocoa, stirring into hot milk and simmer for 15 minutes.
HOT CHOCOLATE MIX
1 large package of powdered milk (14 quarts)***1 large jar Cremora
1 pound package powdered sugar
1 large box Nestle's Quik (3 lb 8 oz.)***1 cup cooking unsweetened cocoa powder
Mix all together until completely mixed and store in a tight container. Use 1/3 to 1/2 cup of dry mixture to 1 cup hot water. This fills a 5 gallon plastic container just a little over half full.
1 gallon cranberry juice***1/2 gallon raspberry sherbet
2 (2 liter) bottles 7-UP
Put cranberry juice in punch bowl; add the 7-UP and then slice in the sherbet. Serves about 40. Don't mix up more than one recipe at a time as the sherbet will melt and this needs to be kinda slushy.
